Nathan Zakheim Associates is a family owned and dedicated to the conservation of historic art objects. Nathan has been involved in restoration since 1978, along with his brother, they undertook the restoration of the Coit Tower Murals whose principal artist was Diego Rivera, one of the worlds most famous muralist. His father, Bernard Zakheim, a noted muralist and contemporary of Rivera was project manager at the time while making significant artistic contributions. It was only fitting that the brothers were given the task of restoring the historic site. Since then Nathan has developed and refined treatments that serve as an industry standard. Working along side his three sons and a tireless staff, some say they create miracles.
